 The night sky over Tara at 8pm on the 3rd of January 2026 has an amazing cast of characters. Just rising in the SE (right) is Sirius - the brightest of all stars, above it the the Way of the White Cow, the Celtic goddess of the River Boyne, whose name means "White Cow" or "Graceful Bovine," symbolizing fertility, wisdom, and the river itself. Above this is Dagda, the good god, the great warrior himself. The Full Moon appears just above the head of Crom and to the right of Cú, Lugh's great magical wolfhound. The Full Moon ceremonies on Tara, on the Boyne and here at Celtic Druid Temple, Castlerea begin at 8pm in the evening. A magical giant boar, escaping from the cave of Oweynagat, is said to have trust it's tusks into the nearby landscape and created an impressive set of linear earthworks, known today as The Mucklaghs, Na Muclaig. Inspired by these ancient Irish tales, artist Orla Clogher and her team, have designed and created this impressive sculpture, currently residing at Rathcroghan Visitor Centre. Quoted from https://www.facebook.com/Rathcroghan  The sunrise event at Brú na Boinne (aka Newgrange) is well known but it is also very important to recall that our ancestors calculated with the day / night cycle starting at dusk. High Noon at the Solstice is at 12:23 so True Midnight is at 00:23. Look due south at 00:23 and you'll see the stars as shown above - all of Ireland.  In the cutaway sketch above of the Brú you (from the right) see the Sun beam flavoured by Dublin's Lambay Volcano (dormant for 1000's of years) passing through the two quartz blocks in the roofbox on top of the entrance dolmen transforming into a rainbow of light. This linear multi coloured light beam bounces off the curved walls causing it to spin exponentially (faster and tighter) until it lands on the water in the central basin. Then a magical separation of light happens - the blue / ultra violet colours get separated and reflected into the end chamber and a golden glow fill the center chamber. The blue / ultra violet colours are the cool end of the visible light spectrum and are used to activate / switch on the Earth Energy Grid.  Sunrise at Brú na Bóinne Temple this morning. A beautiful clear and chilly morning. pics by /i\ Ard Druí SeanRua (aka Red John)       The 3rd secret is about part of what was dis-appeared during the reconstruction for tourism profit. In the lower left of the pic above you can read "Excavated area" - this was a yellow clay bank. Not locally sourced and its origin is still unknown today. It was roughly due south curving west and then curving north. Half of it still exists. The missing half, if left in situ, would have blocked the fake quartz stone facing that they agreed would make a better tourism attraction. The scientists / archaeology specialists just don't talk about it... Any clay bank can be used as a electrism insulator - it was not a grave = it was an energy temple that is now damaged beyond repair. The Mortuary House and the Oval Stone are gone. Some time refereed to as the 'hut and the oval; they are simply not there any more and despite their having names their uses are unknown.  In the above picture you'll see K1 - this is code for the big stone with the multi carvings outside the entrance. Purely as an exercise in measurement - think about how big that stone is and note that it would fit inside the hut or the oval. The oval is roughly twice the length of K1 away from K1. The hut is maybe 5 or 6 times the length of K1 away from K1.  In the image / plan above you can see the relative size and location of the yellow clay bank. Its end lines up with the direction of the Sun into the temple passage way at winter solstice too...  Another drawing / plan view showing the yellow clay bank outlined with the hut and oval. Add to this the missing 'arc of pits' that were disappeared while you realise the so called authorities intention was to maximise tourism revenue while treating visitors as dumb cash cows. The missing yellow clay bank allowed the fake quartz wall to be a photographic feature, the disappeared 'hut and oval' increased standing room and the filled in 'arc of pits' stopped questions that would embarrass the money collectors. While you read this be aware of those who present as experts on the temple but never refer to any of these things... instead calling it a grave...
Orientation to the Sun Back in the 70's excavation era this temple was considered as a huge grave with an interesting aspect to the Sun and not as a solar temple. MJ and Claire O'Kelly who led the excavation and rebuild were insulted in the media by staunch old school types when the couple showed it was a sun temple. WB Yeats an AE Russel had enjoyed an inspired sunrise inside the temple and AE wrote a famous poem about it 70 years earlier. Called "A Dream of Aengus Oge" by George William Russell (who used the pseudonym Æ or AE). It was published in his 1897 book The Earth Breath and Other Poems and is an interpretation of Aisling Óenguso But aligned with this solar temple denial is the orientation of these maps / drawings so that the top of the page is not given as north. This means that the alignment to the rising Sun on the shortest day has not been allowed to line up with its true orientation to the world wide celebrated solstice. 3 out of 4 plans do not have the same North arrow and one plan does not even have a North arrow.  The excavation of the temple was done from funding by Aer Lingus (Ireland’s commercial aviation) and Bord Failte (Ireland’s tourism board). The quartz stone is now lost... but we must be grateful that MJ and others recorded it by photographing it in place. He said that there was space for two such stones and that he only found one but that there were scratches that indicate that there was a second block of quartz. So, we know that Dagda’s Temple was designed so that the Sun on the morning of the shortest day would rise and shine through the roofbox into the chamber 66 foot away. It did this through the two quartz blocks. This would modify the energy of the sunbeam. Think of the energy from the ‘Sun as dc’ or direct current and think ‘quartz making it into ac’ or alternating current and you can realise that this means switching of the current from direct to alternating current. Or you could make it even more simple by thinking of the battery (dc) in an ordinary wrist watch and the tick/tock (ac) it makes = direct into alternation through quartz.. Dagda did this solar engineering in ancient times at the Temple that he built. Oued Djerat (Tassili N'Ajjer), Algeria, The Oued Djerat draining the Fadnoun plateau towards the North is one of the classiv rock art localities of the Sahara, known since the nineteen thirties following the discoveries of Lieutenant Brenans. The numerous engravings of large wild animals (giant buffalo, elephants, rhinoceros, giraffe, hippopotamus) were systematically published by Henri Lhote in two massive volumes (Les gravures rupestres de l'oued Djerat, Tassili-n-Ajjer I-II, Mémoires du C.R.A.P.E. Vol. 25, Alger, 1976). Despite being well known, it isvisited very infrequently as the valley is somewhat out of the way, and requires a long walk to reach the engravings. In November 2014 we made a short exploratory visit, but due to the shortage of time had to leave nearly half of the valley unexplored. This time the plan is to do a camel supported trek along the full length of the valley at a leisurely pace. The inside tri-spiral and the outside tri-spiral may be showing what happens after the Sun on its morning rise after the longest night enters Dagda's Temple = a switch gets flipped. Well the quartz in the roofbox was replaced by an iron bar so that switch is broken. But the tourism revenue is grand... Not a grave or a tomb... a Temple.
