From the mixer to the bucket to the trowel, a women's weekend of cement! Thanks to Geraldine Murren and Jess Connor for laying the cement in the Tigín and a big thank you also to Paul Fox and Matt Care. Now to get a pic of Sean Pikirk and his amazing wall :) We had a great weekend and a big thank you to you all. A special thank you also to Karl Novotny for his generous donation to this project. All of this wonderful support has taken the Tigín to the next level...we're so close to completion.
Next on the agenda is the Hemp and Lime plastering workshop, to help raise funds and cover costs we've put a nominal charge on this weekend workshop. We offer you a chance to learn practical skills in in applying hemp and lime putty on an old stone building.
