Lughnasa 2 Aug 2022

31/7/2022

Happy Lughnasa weekend - on Tuesday 2nd of August just a few moments after the Sun has set the bright star we call Shalinnis in Lugh (Regulus in Leo) will grow huge as it briefly appears to our view - then it will go below the horizon. This is the timing for the high day/night of Lughnasa season of the Eightfold Year.

Do not be fooled into celebrating our ancient Tuatha De Dannan festivals on the relatively modern (16c) Gregorian catholic calendar.

Reclaim your heritage and celebrate Lughnasa by sharing your harvest - whatever that may be. If you can, without looking at the Sun, watch the horizon and see if Lugh winks at you. Blessings of the old gods to all. Image set as if viewed from Tara.

Con’s first book “Your Celtic Path, a seekers guide” is ready and the first delivery from the printers is expected by July’s Full Moon. Over 400 pages written in OgamNua offering guidance, teachings and inspiritation to all seekers of the Celtic Path. The first 40 pages tells the story of the creation of Ogam/Ogham by Ogma of the Tuatha Dé Danann and undoes the fake Ogham of the church and Graves etc., in a ‘step by step’ process so that we can clearly see exactly what they did. This allows us to fully dismiss their fake versions as we reverse their cultural misappropriation and restore our indigenous Irish linear script tradition. Owners of “Your Celtic Path, a seekers guide” will learn how to read and write in OgamNua and as they translate the OgamNua message into English: readers will gain access to the wisdom shared.
You can pre-order your copy or multiple copies of the book -
“Your Celtic Path, a seekers guide” directly from us. If you would like a personal or gift dedication handwritten in OgamNua by the author please let us know what you want written in OgamNua in advance (max 10 words).
