Our Forest Garden Project in a Meme!
In total we have 16.5 acres of land, 9 acres will be planted this January. These 9 acres are part of a bigger permacultre forest garden project that we have dreamed of for many many years. You can be a part of this in many different ways, the pic explains it, I will however make a page here on this website for more info. The main even will be next summer solstice when we will have summer camp here centred around weeding these trees. No chemicals will be used so hard labour is the only solution! Much better and more enjoyable to do this as a large group and as part of a celelbration of our culture. So for volunteering your time and effort you will be much rewarded with good food, company, song, camp fire, dance and craic. We will even venture off the farm for a pilgrimage to Crom on the Solstice. Stay for a day, a weekend, a week or a fornight in our medival styled tent village.
