 | The newest addition to Celtic Druid Temple, the first of many hopefully. These mama hens were born naturally i.e. under a hen, not in an incubator and have the natural instinct inbuilt. It's their first season, we're letting them do their own thing and lending a hand when needed. There is one Rooster and four hens we're not sure yet who the mammy is, we've had two hens taking turns sitting on a clutch of eggs so we'll have to wait and watch the feather colours as they develop. We're interested to see the communal motherhood in action. |
