New standing stone circle at Rathniamh.

On Saturday, September 22, 2018 five Celtic Druids and two friends met to build a new standing stone circle on Rathniamh, at Ireland's Celtic Druid Temple. At the chosen place - the "Novi Stone“ was erected in 2014 above the meeting of two underground streams, located by divining and the 'John and Andy' stone was erected in 2014 above a Y shape of two underground streams, again located by divining - we were about to change this.

Now it was planned to create a sacred place for ceremonies in this area. Two stones each should mark the entrances of the streams and accelerate the energy of the water by being set in slanted position. Opposite of these gates one big stone each was to keep the energy inside the circle.

The positions of the stones were exactly fixed by divining with pendulums; not only the courses of the streams were considered but also the average depth, that implicated the diameter of the circle. Now the pits were dug and the the stones laid beside them; although these stones were small compared to ancient monuments a kind of "Stonehenge feeling“ was coming up.

Two stones from the site were put in a new place: the mentioned "Novi Stone“ which had to be removed from the center for ceremonial reasons and "John and Andy Stone“ which was erected in 2012 above a Y-junction of two underground streams 80 meters from the new place and was now chosen as the blocking or bouncer stone at the end of the new circle above the east-west-stream coming down from the Y-junction. The two stones also mark the great relationship between John and Karl that exists since 2011. The new settings were additionally checked by divining.

The other four stones received the names of Niamh, Con, Ivan and Frank; Frank also called 'his' stone the "sheep stone“ because he found that one side looked like a sheep’s head.

Now a fire of wood and charcoal was lit in the center of the circle. Then the fire was brought from the central to the six pits in the circle.

The six pits were equally filled with wood and charcoal; animal’s bones, antler and some stones, feathers and similar things were added by the members. This was based on energetic thoughts as well as on the archeologically proved fact that beneath the old stone monuments there are always carbon remains.

These works lasted from late morning till afternoon; surprisingly the erecting and fixing of the stones took just a short time, and all of a sudden the work was done. At the end we proved that the new circle was keeping the energy as we expected. This was done by divining and a comparison of the energy intensity of 'before and after' showed enhanced energy / life force / Imbass.

We decided to name this new standing stone circle "Ciorcal Corra“, Circle of the Crane Bird, dedicated to Ireland's Ancient Fertility Goddess. As Crom dives into the underworld, Corra flies high overhead.

We brought Crom down from the Bog Oak outer temple to sit a while looking into his new circle and now for the winter Crom sits inside his Temple Crom In the pic below you see Red John, Karl, Con, Niamh, Sam and Ivan with Crom in the center - Frank had gone home to Meath but was represented by the Quartz rock on top of the 'sheep stone'...

On Sunday we celebrated the first ceremony inside the new circle, this year‘s autumn equinox ceremony.
