On the way back we stopped at the little spot and I climbed up the path whilst Con explored the cliff line, just North of the Cliffs of Moher.
There's no amount of adjectives sufficient to describe what I felt. I was in a completely foreign (to me) landscape- I felt unprepared for it and decided not to venture too far. The rocks are huge rising into giant boulders or spreading flat across crevices. sure footing and a knowledge of place is essential. |
Inside these crevices trees were growing along with tiny beautiful wildflowers.

I stopped to perform the Triple Blessings, energetically I could sense that I had actually stopped on a busy rock where many people had been before-probably like me deciding not to venture any further! The sense of place insisted on slowing down and devoting time to getting to know it.
